Glasgow Underground – Cessnock Power Distribution Panels

This product was manufactured for Glasgow underground. The project was to refurbish existing underground stations working within the constraints of the existing structure. It was therefore important that while meeting all specification requirements the new switchboards need to fit into the space available.

Shaw Automation Ltd supplied a Low Voltage Package solution to the client. Consisting of:-

• Main Switchboards
• Sub Distribution Switchboards
• Sub Distribution Panel Boards

Main Switchboards were manufactured to EN 61439-2 with full design verification. Using the Hager Quadro+ Switchboard system Shaw automation were able to provide a competitive package with the full support of the Hager organisation.

• Floor standing
• Colour : RAL 7035 (light Grey)
• Form 4 type 6
• Busbars rated at 2000A 50kA for 1 sec
• Top and bottom cable entry
• Incoming devices:- Hager ACB
• Outgoing devices:- Hager MCCB LSI
• Glased External doors

• One contact point for all LV Distribution requirements
• Fully certified products
• Panel boards fully assembled with MCCBs fitted and tested.
• Distribution Boards assembled with MCBs/RCBOs fitted and fully tested
• Quick easy site installation due to Panel board and Distribution Board pre-assembly.
• The glassed doors keep the switchgear secure and clean while providing full visibility of all functional switchgear, metering etc.
